Outdoor Well Head Cover Woodcraft Pattern

Finally, an attractive design to cover that eyesore well head in the middle of your yard!

Make from rustic pallet wood or new wood of your choice. Customize the center changeable plywood panel with house number or one of many suggested messages using the complete alphabet included on our full-size pattern

Size and height will vary with well head, sign panel about 6″ x 13-1/2″.

Wood:
various lengths and widths of 3/4″ thick pallet wood, treated pine, or reclaimed wood.

One 6″ x 13-1/2″ piece of 1/4″ thick exterior Plywood (#FPLY416)

Tools: Table Saw and or circular saw with a non-chipping blade, Drill and 3/16″ dia. bit, hammer and screwdriver.

Hardware:
Nails – One box, 3D 1-1/4″ long finish

Screws – Two #8 x 1-1/2″ long, flat head; Six #8 x 2-1/2″ long, flat head

Supplies:
Transfer paper (#CARB), pencil & clear tape
Sand Paper – medium & fine grits
Wood Glue – exterior (#GLUETB3)
Wood Filler – non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws.
Paint Brushes – 2″, 1″ and fine detail

Paint:
White water base primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the color of choice of Delta Craft Paint

Sealer:
High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer (#POLYQT) for outdoor protection
